I was planning on making the blue-gray background color more gray to illustrate how smoky the atmosphere is, but it just looks a lot better this way. However, if you mentally replace decent contrast with nuclear winter, you’ll know what’s up.
Contrast is such a buttpunch to get right. I think it is fine. Man, another one and a half characters dead! Or.. two and a half. I guess one was offscreen.
The Gas-Car-Go attendant doesn’t count as a character. I mean, he works for one of Oil Princess’ rival stations.
Technically they all died offscreen, just not all out of earshot.
