   That is exactly how I failed most of my college courses. And I really mean it when I say that black hole idea is the most sensible thing I have ever heard.

   “The purpose of the universe is fencing”, “existence is completely pointless”, well of course. Fencers would get hurt otherwise.

   High original gravity is often correlated with high ABV, but since alcohol has a lower specific gravity than water, vodka has a much lower SG than any wine. Black holes, on the other hand, have so much specific gravity they are really hard to drink.

   TOG: That’s the trick — end every essay with, “Also, [class subject] is the purpose of the universe.” You’ll never do worse than a B.

   Tens: Holy compatible worldviews!

   Steve: Black holes also have way too many ingredients, to the point that even the most refined palette can’t distinguish them.
