What with the all white background I thought he was a sentient crack in the so called space time continuum (different from Space-time…). I’m thinking about reading some Philip K. Dick, Flow My Tears, Said the Policeman sounds interesting. It seems the Man in the High Castle is obligatorily praised much in the sam that Infinite Jest was (is). Based on what I read summary-wise, either Ubik or VALIS, look… interesting as well.
Ah, the proverbial “mice abandoning a mopping flesh puppet”
Oh yes, VALIS is a marvelous experience, but personally I like to recommend an assortment of short stories, with things ranging between “The Skull”, “Imposter”, “Beyond Lies The Wub”, and “The Eyes Have It” it is hard to go wrong.
Might an intervention confuse a cat, in itself a valuable service?
Contagion Pertaining to GandaPestile's Biology, in which he is isotonic relative to himself
KCC: High Castle was a bit disappointing IMO. Maybe I need to give it another go. I’m a VALIS fan, but GandaPestile’s probably right about it not being a good PKD introduction.
Lemoncurry?: I think Confuse-a-Cat LTD could do a much better job than a plain old intervention.
GandaPestile: Although, if she follows the pattern set by other residents of the Characters page, that probably means we’ll be seeing less and less of her as time goes on.

Seeing a stick figure guy pull his chest open is pretty strange

Yes! The people have spoken, if only me, and after much character development we got there. Simone is a character.
Ubik is a classic. Apophenia. VALIS probably shouldn’t be read as an introduction to PKD.
Cold: Apparently it’s something I like to do: http://mountaincomics.com/comic/mountain-time-236/

I request another bowling alley comic now that it has been referenced in a reference.
