What’s that thing in the last panel, some kind of dragonswim?
Great to see Callipygia’s back (pun possibly intended). The design was too hilarious to be relegated to one comic, and I love seeing things get willed into existence by a misunderstanding.
Cows without horns are much more common in real life than in drawings, good for you hittin’ that underused realism. And look at those cute little ears. I love this cow.
Hmm if I may conjecture, that seems to be what happens when a dragonfly mates with Morla the Ancient One. Not a lot of mating goes on in the Swamps of Sadness, but when it does, there are surely dragonflies around.
Cold: I was thinking bat more than turtle, but at any rate, I think you’ve hit on the key to making the Swamps of Sadness less sad.
And I must admit that my drawing reference for this cow was a cow I drew before. That’s not what I’d call best practices, but at least I’m consistently realistic?
I’m not exactly an expert on the ontological knowledge of cows but I always sort of assumed that they had things pretty figured out. The reference made in panel 3 seems be be outsmarting my Google-Fu, which is why I need to start knowing things BEFORE I try to look them up.
No reference there, other than that people often want to develop a “swimmer’s body.” And I thought Ankilah was a funny name for a cow because it means smart and wise.
Cows often don’t really look at you, side-eyes and all that..
Uhh I have… art projects.. but yeah have not gotten back on the comic pony yet. Health needs to increase 70-75% more before that happens. Also need to find a decent webcomic host, as those do not seem to exist anymore.
Is the sunlight coming from all the Philadelphia cream cheese commercials?

Nah: I’m no astrophysicist, so… yes.
NAR: Calli was too perfect to pass up. Just about as perfect as the taxon “dragonswim.”

Man I can’t throw shade, I keep ‘casting’ the same animal models over and over. nevermind their accuracy… so many triangular-eared lions.
Do you have a project now? I thought you were long done.
Also, I’m now really bothered that the cow in panel 5 isn’t looking at Callipygia. Like, it’s all I can see.I fixed it enough.I’m not exactly an expert on the ontological knowledge of cows but I always sort of assumed that they had things pretty figured out. Happy hallow’s eve eve!
I’m probably going to go with my usual costume of “a werewolf, but it isn’t a full moon, so I just look normal.”
Sounds similar to my go-to: an idiot.
