I love writing Onion Shakespeare. Normally when you write a line like “Revenue Avenue,” you treat it as a placeholder you’ll change out for something un-horrible later on. But with Onion Shakes, writing awful lines is just reinforcing character.

I just realized Onion Shakespeare is a very Dilberty character. It took the silent panel to fully get that.
