Fun fact: I discovered the first half of this comic way in the back of the Official Mountain Time Accordion Binder, where it had been hiding for over two years.

The triumphant return of Lenny! I feel this is a victory for all of us here at Mountain Time.
Well…all of us who aren’t creeper mantises.
Indeed, it is a victory for kicking enthusiasts everywhere.
Is it just me, or is Lenny looking quite surprised to be kicking a mantis?
I’ve lost some drawings before.. it’d be nice to have ’em back.. I must say panel 5 had me laughing heartily. I didn’t see it coming.
Isn’t it odd how mantes have such big forearms but the actual sickle can be kinda disappointingly small? Oh well now this one has a cracked thorax.
Klear: It would make sense — I believe this is the first time he’s kicked a non-human.
Cold: I’m not sure why I opted to go with such an unimpressively sickled mantis species. Maybe he’ll get upgrades in the future (if he survived the kick, of course).
I used to misread it as “You just got killed by Lenny the Fuck You Zebra” during my first archive binge here. I still tend to consider whoever gets kicked to be dead.
You may well be right, but since Mountain Time characters tend not to stay dead (the hamster has died a lot, for instance), it’s kind of a moot point.
Am I wrong in thinking the mantis has some pretty good ideas that I would like to implement?
DO IT.
