HAH, i love these damn things keep it up!
That’s seriously the best way to write a novel, or a song, or a poem, or anything else. I would bet that most of the novels that literature professors spend years agonizing over analyzing weren’t really written with any more than maybe a rudimentary deeper meaning in mind, so the author’s dispositions and opinions of society show through naturally. It doesn’t mean there isn’t a deeper meaning, only that the author probably wasn’t creating it consciously. I love writing something and seeing how different people analyze it in ways I’d never have thought of.
Also, gotta love people who turn into hedgehogs and don’t let it bother them.
