   Panel 3: The ‘h’ of “the” seems to be partially missing.
   Panel 4: Something briefly happened to my brain’s language processing unit while first reading, making the first line temporarily incomprehensible. It recovered.

   Panel 3: Thanks! I forgot to write over the white-out.

   Panel 4: Sentence fragments be like that sometimes! But ya gotta write speech th’ way ya hear it in yer head sometimes. Makes it more natural.

   Panel 5 is a beautiful, beautiful belabored pun of the sort I do myself some-a-times. I guess the CIA guy has decided ‘nanny state’ and ‘big brother’ justify more familial metaphors. I could get used to nagging-mom spy network. Guilt those bad guys into giving up their secrets already, what, you think you’re so special nobody can know what you’re up to?

   is ‘whiskey flight of the navigator’ a pun? is there another cocktail that’s like ‘whiskey (movie title)’?

   “I listen to every phone call you make anyway; would it kill you to just call me from time to time?”

   “Flight” is basically a fancy way for alcoholics to say “sampler.” A whiskey flight is essentially a sampler of maybe 3 or 4 whiskeys.

   Just as a general to-let-you-know, I still occasionally get “Not acceptable” errors when trying to access this site. I don’t even know what that error means, much less why it’d be showing up at random times, but…yeah
