I think freedom is best represented by any fruit where you have to do a little work to get the outside off and get at the sweet, sweet innards. though I would love a clear plum or anything with prizes inside, holy crap.. when did food stop having prizes? there’s that mardi gras cake, there’s uh… those weird variants of chicken cordon bleu where you never know what the inside’s going to be, that kind of counts. there’s that one cereal with the mystery filling except the seam on the pieces spoiled it for you
I would indeed think the fruit which is Freedom would have the bitter pith of citrus, and the myriad pips of pomegranate, but the rich succulent flesh of mango or peaches en regalia, and the heady aroma of crab tiger and almond, or strawberries and gunsmoke. But a plum works if the other is not to hand, indeed, there are many options, because the fruit of freedom is Choice.
Hmm, Equatorial Antarctic climate, ready made civilization, airship industry, and tomatoes. Other then the people who are bee-headed this place is seeming more and more appealing. What are the immigration policies?

Peaches can’t be the fruit of freedom, because they’re the fruit of Georgia, USA.
