In a lot of browsers, it’s not enough to set it as the alt text, you have to also set it as the ‘title’ to make it work in firefox.. i dunno about cellmopones, i just know they suck at being computers.
I use Firefox, and it the alt text works just fine as alt text, but then, that’s part of how the whole ComicPress thing is set up. I don’t know of any cellular telephone that can read alt text the same way you can on computers. I’ve seen other comics come up with workarounds, though.
here I am trying to make some kind of comment on the continuity of a character who has none of her own, and then that alt text.. you floored me.
Am I missing out on some alt-text humor? I don’t think I can see it on my mobile (as we Americans call our cell phones).
In every comic since number… 307, I think. Maybe in the next round of site fixes I’ll figure out a mobile-friendly alt-text thing.
