Guesss: I mean, a “maid maid” is a woman-woman, but a terramaid is a landwoman. Personally, I believe a woman-woman can be anything she wants to be, but a landwoman can only be a woman who lives on land.
Cold: When trying to get a word to stick in my vocabulary, I find it useful to write it into an episode of Mountain Time.
Assuming I’ve correctly identified the word in question, watching Monty Python’s Cheese Shop sketch dozens of times really helped cement it in my memory. In fact I can’t even hear it in anything other than John Cleese’s voice.
I love that sketch, but I’m not one for memorizing. But the fear of misusing a word will totally make me double- and triple-check myself, and by the end I know the word!
So just a maid maid?
I learned a word! Bet I’ll forget it. And yet I remember where everyone has ever left my keys.
