I mean, same thing, right?
This kid is giving me great Philippe from Achewood vibes. Always happy to see a cute and polite critter. now all I can think is what did the demon have as his original punchline? All I have is Dan Lather, and that’s probably just something I remember from Shampoo Week some year.
I’ve been binging Achewood lately, and Philippe was 100% the jumping off point for Schopie. I have some pretty un-Philippe things in mind for him, if I decide to bring him back.
So, recently I rewatched the Demented Cartoon Movie, and couldn’t help but feel that if Mountain Time ever had some kind of animation-fueled adaptation, it would probably bear some similarities. Both settings seem to operate on the idea that characters (and the world) can basically die as many times as necessary, and have their own rules which, while established within the setting itself, wouldn’t make a lot of sense if you tried to explain them to someone unfamiliar with the work.

“Dan Lather” isn’t too bad!
