Damn! First the crossover wasn’t a disappointment, and now it is! Next thing I know, it’ll receive some kind of neutral response.

Oh shoot. I was rereading the Amoeba series again (as one does on an uneventful Christmas day), and I just now see that RU4’s pigtails get increasingly deflated (decreasingly inflated?) and limp over the course of SEVERAL YEARS, only for them to be restored by the magic of shampoo in this comic. It’s a Christmas miracle! (My very late realisation, that is; shampoo magic thankfully works year-round.)
