I cannot handle raoul’s smile. It is beyond adjectives.
Oh no! You just meta-raouled me. (By telling me something you knew I already knew about someone who only tells me that which I already know, you know?). I suppose that was intended towards new readers, but still.
I am trying to imagine a Mountain Time psuedo-plot-oriented-adventure game, but that would take a lot of time. (Sad emoticon)
Cold: The research for this one took a minute because I didn’t realize the spelling was “lymon.” Googling “limon” does very little to inform you about Sprite.
Panda: On the contrary, the Raoul punchline was meant for seasoned readers. And I’m totally ready to write a plot-consistent adventure game (if someone could code it for me)! Right now I’m about 75% certain about the overarching plot of Moutain Time going forward. But forget that; it’s all random; I have no long-term plans; I’m actually a sponge or something.
I have been mucking around with some basic 2d stuff using lua, but I am not even close to the point of being able to make anything okayish. School tends to get in the way of learning useful things (like programming), but I’ve been looking for a project, and this could be interesting, as something to begin in the long term. So maybe….?
If I were a sponge, I would be 7 arbitrary units better at everything
Panda, you legit need to do this, you must make the Mountain Time Adventure Game. But I do have some suggestions for the game:
1) Fourth-Wall break to hell. Even a side quest revolving around the fourth-wall.
2) Should be satirical/deconstructive to other adventure games, games in general, reality.
3) Keep the surreal, please.
I wrote a skeleton script of an adventure game some time ago. Of course (and as you might have noticed recently), I am a man without coding skills. Full disclosure: I probably can’t even remember half of the ZIP codes I’ve lived in. Codes, man. Friggin’ codes.
Bwahahaha, Raoul you are great. The first time I saw the spanish word ‘limon’ i was like WHOA LYMONS ARE REAL
