This may explain, in part, why Christmas trees always have so many microwaves. Or maybe not.

Surely uppy-downy dyslexia also inverts left and right? Or is it purely conceptual, not literally inverting the verticality of the uni(multi/omni)verses cartesian graph. This line of questioning probably also contributes to the Christmas tree conundrum.

That seems to be the issue with most hell or heaven based monotheism, in which you don’t go to hell if you don’t want to, because God forgives all. The human in me doesn’t trust this concept, of true forgiveness, because humans are terrible. (Almost as terrible as submarines).

The real question here is how many models of microwave have been before the ‘ol nine triple zero. Do you assume that it is based on thousands, making it 8? Or is it 8999, or is it just a generic evil scientist add a something-thousand and it is your diabolical machine?

    Know the law, don’t I?
    Susurration juxtaposed…
    This is not a microwave.

I always respond to rhetorical orders with ‘no!’

PandaGestile: Up and down are cardinal directions, while left and right are relative. “Cardinal” and “relative” are completely different from one another, except for the letters A, I, L and R. A quick application of Boggle gives us RAIL, LAIR, RIAL, LIRA, and LIAR. QED.

    Cold: Suit yourself.

isto: Surely if you are lost and ask a cardinal for direction, he will direct you left and right, not just up and down, right?

…could be because he’s your relative though. I’ll have to think this through.

But if you invert your head, something to the left previously will now be on your relative right. However, I don’t think it erases your cousins, or other relatives. Testing this only earned odd looks… Also, I swear you made a comic explaining how up wasn’t cardinal, among other things. Huzzah!

PandaGestile: Of course up isn’t a cardinal. I don’t think catholic church is open to non-humans…

Klear: Even if I were lost, I wouldn’t ask a cardinal for directions. He’d give me catholic directions, and there’d be lots of confessing and eating cannibal wafers.

PandaGestile: Unfortunately, I’m not on the board of directions.

Didn’t a previous comic establish that up wasn’t a cardinal direction?

I stand by my previous assertion that up should not be considered a cardinal direction. Unfortunately, I am not the chair of the United Nations Cardinal Direction Committee, and therefore lack the authority to overrule the existing definitions of cardinal directions in any official capacity.
