Well, if according to Pythagorean thought, the soul is composed of the element of fire and thus is totally extinguished in cases of death by drowning, holding said Pythagorean relationship with all those whom I have never met is what keeps me existing as a discrete individual but to have met everyone and nullify all such Pythagorean relationships would render one’s soul impervious to the water-death. Or did this relationship only apply to people that you have not met but who have met someone who you have met?
