Goddammit Chimneyfoot! If he is so bad at being an elf, why does he think that he will be any better at being death personified? He is missing, in order of importance, a horse for when ever apocallipsis gets around to happening, a stereotypical scythe, the even more stereotyped set of bones/rotting corpse, and a general omniscience and lack of interest in what people do before they die.
And there is yet more japanese symbolism, what with the multiple dojos, the oriental ninja technique (5 chops in a single panel was fairly impressive), various knifes and shuriken, the seppuku, and of course the kamikaze actions of the lirii. Coincidence? I (still) think not…
He might be bad at being an elf, but I don’t think it’s ever been established whether or not he’s good at being a Euclidean pixie. As far as I can tell, the only requirement there is zeal for geometry.
Im sorry, I forgot his true race type pixie thing. But I still think he is bad at plane geometry, purely because he has had no practise, what with not being invited on shape raids, and being generally like rudolph the raindeer except he hasn’t saved christmas and become accepted yet.
