So I’ll be on vacation next week, which should hopefully help clear up my recent case of behind-schedule-itis (it’s a self-diagnosis, but I’m pretty sure I’ve either got that or hysterical pregnancy). However, it does mean Mountain Time will be on hiatus for a week. In the meantime, perhaps you’d like to read about a video game that came out the same year as Adventures in Babysitting. Just, you know, don’t fuck with the babysitter.

Thanks! I think ham is a particularly good choice, because if you used, say, turkey, people would think you were a crazy person with turkey on his face.

I was going to reference a specific story from Dubliners, but I couldn’t remember which one it was, and simply looking at the list of them knocked me out for half an hour.
I’ve never actually read any of his work proper, to be honest; in case I was too subtle about it, I was referring to his published-for-God-only-knows-what-reason correspondence with one Nora Barnacle.
Parties unfamiliar with the material would do well to avoid reviewing it at work, while eating, or with loved ones looking over their shoulders.
Oh yeah, I forgot about ol’ Barnacle. I guess I blocked that. (I wonder why.)
You know, the more I think about it, as much as I feel I’ve classed the place up with my comments here, I realize the tone of the aforementioned content might not fit the site quite so well (I know, I know, “how on earth could the two not go together?”); if you’d like to remove what I’ve posted so as not to tarnish the site’s reputation during your absence, I won’t hold a grudge.
