Where one number might go up, another may come down in another area- thus creating an economic balance, or perhaps a positive or negative shift depending on the nature of things. Now if one number goes up and causes another to go up, you may see a cancelled out gain. The key is to determine which numbers are going up and which ones are going down. From there, you will need to assess the implications of that trend and proceed accordingly.
