well obviously the kitchen camera is set at countertop level because it has one of those “all the annoyances of having a wall without doing the one thing a wall is sort of meant to do” kitchen walls, where there’s a big window cut in it for seeing into the living room. they also have a pointless overhang-lip at the top, whcih serves no freaking purpose, even as you try to hang plants from it or something.. but makes it impossible to mount a ceiling-height surveillance camera

Cold: According to the schematic, there is definitely a wall there; I guess he just mounted the camera on the underside of the cabinets.
