Unfortunately, such alligators probably have to compromise their normal diet. Or their continuity in the comics canon, such as it is. Surrealism tends to hinder most continuity. Mostly. I guess. Abstractions also help, as with most things. I guess that was another unconstructive comment, so yeah.
Cold: If we build them, they will climb up there.
Gandapestile: It’s a bird-rich diet for sure. Also, one might argue that surrealism creates its own continuity. I don’t know how WELL one might argue that, but one might.

To conclude, surrealism creates it’s own brand of continuity either through the expectation of events clearly outside the norm and their (lack of) interrelatedness, or through evaluation and interpretation of the common theme and it’s references. And then there is Mountain Time.
