The jungle advice is just something I’m passing on.
I could probably mold several educated guesses into a plausible hypothesis as to why humanity evolved when it did, but that would get pretty wordy, and today’s comic was already wordy enough.
Do you know if s bit of polish is a viable substitute?
Depends if Global Bad Narrative Imperative is on, thusly enabling puns to do pretty much anything, although the story/your life will probably have a bad gainax ending, or other things that negate your jungle survival.
Maltor: Well, the Danes at least had a colony in Ghana, whereas the Poles had none. So between the two, I think a bit of danish is going to be more suited to the jungle.
